What Skyblock Lab keeps, and for how long.

On the server

• Bazaar prices and Auction House sales, published by Hypixel, for the price histories.
• When a profile is viewed: one snapshot a day of that profile (net worth, coins, bank, skill average, Magical Power, level, unique minions), linked to the player’s Minecraft ID. Kept 366 days at most.
• The usernames of followed players (300 at most) and when their profile was last visited, for the automatic snapshots. A player is forgotten after 30 days without a visit.
• The username and Minecraft ID of players searched on the site and of players active in the Auction House (sellers and buyers, published by Hypixel), to suggest them while typing a username (as on SkyCrypt). Nothing else is kept about them; a player is forgotten 30 days after their last search or activity, and the list is limited to 100,000 players.
• An anonymous visit counter: one visit per browsing session, told apart by a fingerprint of the IP address and browser computed with a random value that changes every day. Fingerprints are erased the next day; only the day's totals (number of visitors and visits) are kept. Bots are not counted.
• To prevent abuse, the server counts player lookups per IP address in memory for an hour at most; these addresses are never stored in the database. Like any website, the web server may keep technical logs (IP address, page requested) for security.

Only in your browser

Your settings (language, theme), favourites, flip journal, alerts, followed players and your recent player searches stay in your browser (local storage). They are not sent to the server, except a player’s username when you follow them or view their profile. You can export your favourites and journal in Settings, and erase everything by clearing the site’s data in your browser.

The site also keeps a copy of its pages and files in your browser, to open faster and without a connection (installed app). Prices and profiles are not kept there.

Services contacted

• Hypixel and Mojang APIs: the server asks them for the public data of the players searched. Only what the player made public in game is available.
• SkyCofl (sky.coflnet.com): your browser loads the item icons from it, which sends it your IP address.
• mc-heads.net: your browser loads the players’ heads from it (Profile tab), which sends it your IP address.

Deleting snapshots

If you want your profile’s snapshots deleted, write to contact@skyblocklab.com in a way that lets us check the account is yours.
